I recently heard on Fox news that with kids back in school, around 78% of parents were concerned about the negative influence other kids may have on their children. The study went on to talk about how parents would watch their kids, limit their time with others, etc.

I am fascinated that parents and people in general will be "concerned" about the negative people influencing kids and yet they don't apply that logic to their lives. So many adults I know have negative people influencing their lives and decisions, yet they don't stop seeing them and they don't limit their time with them. It's a double standard plain and simple. Do as I say, not as I do.

Phil and I rarely associate with negative people. We don't enjoy negative people and we don't tolerate it in our lives or our daughter's life. Everyone knows someone that sucks the air out of you and drains your energy. The key is to limit your time with them and pray your positive spirit rubs off! It's time adults were as concerned about their choices as they are of their kids' choices. You only have one mind and one life. Protect these precious commodities and fill them with positive thoughts and people!
