Happy 4th of July
The fourth of July has officially been known as Independence
Day since 1776, the day the Declaration of Independence was signed. It is
traditionally celebrated with fireworks, and is considered the United States'
birthday. It is one of our families’
favorite days to celebrate. Why? We are passionate about our country and the
freedoms we enjoy in the US.
My husband’s family has been involved in local and state
politics for over 30 years because they want to actively be involved in the
process, and protect the founding fathers' vision for this country.
Fireworks are fun, and my husband Phil likes to do them big!
Yet, the fourth of July is more than a passing birthday with fun fireworks. It
is a reminder of the greatness this country was founded on, and the freedom we
enjoy daily.
There were many struggles the founding fathers had to endure
to move toward independence and democracy. Our family is grateful that we get
to enjoy the benefits of living in the greatest country in the world.
We live where people want to become citizens every day,
thousands vacation here, and thousands want to live here. We are blessed. Our family is grateful for
our founding fathers, and all of the wonderful citizens locally and statewide
who serve this county protecting our freedoms and our democracy.
Celebrating America today!
